As frames are used on a large number of websites, it is probably a good
idea to update your software. On some of the pages I've used a bit of JavaScript.
Chances are that if your browser doesn't understand frames, it won't understand
the JavaScript either.

if you meet their criteria, e.g. if you use the program purely for private,

<BR>A word of warning, however: most modern browsers are big programs,
requiring large amounts of RAM and available space on your harddisk - there
are other, smaller and faster, browsers; but they usually aren't free!</TD>
